About Ayesha Abbasi

Ayesha Abbasi is a UAE national Digital Marketer by profession, but a Landscape & Travel photographer by passion.

 Ayesha credits her parents' influence for her love of photography, with a mother who studied the arts and a father whose camera she used to play with from a very young age. Ayesha cannot think of a time where she did not have a camera on sight and cannot deny the love of travel and exploration which runs deep in her family’s blood. Ayesha’s curiosity of the world led her to pile up years-worth of national geographic magazines and inspect them one by one. She recalls looking at Steve Mccurry’s shot and day dreaming about the day when she could manage to go on expeditions and capture so much emotions like he did with her own camera.

Ayesha decided to pursue her dreams in 2007 and challenge herself to explore more of the world. With her camera in tow, Ayesha traveled to the coastal towns in southern Italy all the way to northern tips of the Arctic Circle to watch the auroras--it was there that she discovered her love for landscape photography.

 Ayesha found it important to disconnect from the busy world of digital media and slow down and take time to appreciate the finer details of things and to truly see with new eyes what makes this earth beautiful. She found photography as her mean to reconnect with herself, to project her voice, as well as to express all the experiences she had in the beautiful places she encounters.

Her curiosity and love for challenges has lead her on journeys to over 54 countries around the world. She believes there is so much yet to explore and a lot more to learn about herself.
